Save a copy of any icon you like that's embedded into an application. The tool extracts the image from EXE or DLL files and saves it either in the ICO or in the BMP format. The tool is also able to place the extracted icon into your clipboard thus making it easy to import into a different graphics editor.

A free 32-bit utility that can extract icon files from any .exe, .dll, or any other type of file that might contain embedded icons. Each icon may be saved in either .bmp or .ico format, or copied to the Clipboard for pasting into your favoritegraphics editor or use the integrated editor. You can also pick the background color for maintaining the transparency.
